Whats the best rate you have gotten into MCO and how far out did you book it?

I live close to the border on the states side and I'm also interested in decent rates out of Seattle. I did ok last year on a non-stop on Alaska Air, but I'm hoping to cut those costs even more. I booked 6 months in advance last time. We were going in June so I'm sure that played into it, this year we're going in September. When are you going?

I've had trouble with Delta out of SEA. They tend to cancel a lot of flights if you book early and change flight times out of the blue. Continental's service to Florida seems to be ok (other than a late start last time). Frontier won't get you there (unless they've changed), neither will JetBlue (Ok, JetBlue will get you there, but won't get you home). Southwest doesn't seem to run any specials for us out of SEA either.

I had a nice quiet day today to do tons of looking around. The problem I found was my dates - Jan 2-12th - it was nearly $900 or more for 2 of us to fly out. I changed the dates to Jan 5-15th and got flights for $640 total for the 2 of us on Southwest. I snatched it up and booked it! Frontier was about $700. I am pretty happy with the rates. I remember back in 2000 we flew on a delta special for $149 roundtrip! WOW. Pre-911 rates were sometimes really awesome like that.

Wow! That's a lot! I only payed I think it was $385 US to go SEA to MCO last June round trip on Alaska Air (non-stop). I guess though maybe the NYE crowd is flying then? I don't know. Still seems like a lot.

Ok, I'm having mental issues today. That's for two of you. Then that's actually not so bad.

LOL - yah that is for 2 of use! Heck I could fly from Vancouver for $650 EACH. lol. Im pretty happy with it!

I be happy with that too. $300 a person is pretty good! Especially for that close to New Year's Eve. I don't mind Southwest either. I'll never fly Delta again. I wish JetBlue would get up and running out of Seattle a bit more. I'd like to try them. Frontier is supposed to be really good too. Allegiant flies out of my hometown, but only to Las Vegas and apparently you can't book a connector out of there... doh! Continental still offers some decent food, so they may be my new airline of choice. Just wish they'd offer more deals from the West Coast! Even Disney partner airlines don't offer anything to WDW (like I'd want to spend time at Disneyland after going to WDW, ok, well, maybe if I had a free weekend! Or was going there for a hockey tournament.)

We are flying Alaska from Seattle and our rate was $203 and $233 per person...so $436/person return without taxes etc. I like the fact it is a direct flight...with three children layovers are not something I like to deal with!

we flew out of seatac quite a while ago, almost 3 years, but for our family of 5 the grand total was only 1700 dollars...we went with another family and i had i booked a few days earlier , it would have been more than 100 less than i had paid..when compared to flying out of yvr (vancouver) i saved over 3000 dollars, it is crazy flying from out west to florida, the prices are so high....
