Canadian Photopass Share for September

I copied this from another Photopass share that I was in last October. Bunnyfoo, did an excellent job!! If Seibel does not want to organize, I will.

I think the most important point is to make sure you don't create your own Photopass account. If you enter your card numbers onto your own account, you won't be able to use them in our swap I will give out our swap account name and password in September. Everyone has 30 days to claim their photos and then another 30 days once the card #s are entered into the account. At least this is how I understand the system to work. Let me know if you have any questions.

1) Get a photopass card from a photopass photographer when they take your pictures in the parks. Have fun and have lots of photopass photographers take your picture. Each photographer will scan your photopass card to add photos to your photopass card id number.

2) When you get home, rather than create your own Photopass account on the Disney Photopass website, you will use a photopass account that is already created by the group of people that you have prearranged to share with.

3) All the people in this group add their photopass card IDs to this same account on the Disney Photopass website. You can edit your photos there (add borders, crop, etc) and then once everyone in the group has added their photos and edited their pictures.

4) Everyone's pictures will be on this CD. The person who ordered it will make copies for all other people in the group and mail them their copies. You can then take this CD to any photo place and get your photos developed as you wish because Disney sends a copyright release with the CD.

5) There is no limit to how many pictures you can take. If a group has enough pictures to fill more than one CD, Disney will send as many additional CD's as it takes at no extra charge.

I wonder how the Photopass share would work with the Grand Floridian photo shoots. I have been reading up on this and it sounds like it costs an additional $25 if you can show them your prepaid receipt or something.

Would all "sharers" be able to show this proof in some way do you think?

(Or at least when entering your photo cards enter only thru the account I set up.) If we have 5 people cost should be around $30. this will be for shipping and costs of CD's needed.

Sorry I do not know anything about the Grand Floridian photo shoot. This photo share will be strictly for the purchase of the photo cd, because with the photopass only one name and address appears on the account, so any additional photo's etc requested would then be sent to the address on the account. This might be too confussing for photopass sharing.

I was thinking 6 people is enough. Once everyone has there photocards registered on the Disney site, it can take awhile to access all the pictures. Also for every picture you have taken at WDW you can add a boarder, a caption, a cartoon etc, so one picture becomes 5 etc. So to complile all the pictures might take a lot of time.

Unfortunately our photopass for Septeber is full. Please feel free to start another one. We can call ourselves September group A, and you can be September group B. We can keep this thread going for others that are still out there and interested.
