I have seen that stats but wondering a Canadian perspective on the weather in California in Jan/Feb?

Thinking about a trip next year since DCA will be mostly finished and Carsland will be opened.

Weather will be warming than Winnipeg I am sure but will it be warm enough to swim, maybe go to the breach etc?

Any Canadians been there during those months?

Any other advice on Disneyland? Long Time WDW fan but would like to go to the place that started it all. We are DVC members so liekly going to stay at the Grand Californian Villas DVC.

We've been in both Feb and March an we needed jackets and even gloves at night. We've been to DL 5 times and Oct was the only true "California" weather so I think we re jinxed.

I'll let you know after we get back. :cool1:

I've been many years ago in January and February and remember it being very pleasant during the day but cooler at night.

Over on the Disneyland board there is lots of good information for WDW Vets and historical weather.

Please do. Don't mind jackets at night but would like to swim in the day. I know we juts came back from WDW and swam in the daytime...even though FL residents say it is too cold.

We were in Disneyland for the first week in January this year. The weather was sunny. As someone mentioned, a jacket or sweater/sweatshirt is really a must for the evenings. If I remember correctly, most days broke 25 at the hottest point of the day. But the mornings and evenings were chilly at times.

We just went from jan 15th-20th and it was nice during the day (could get by without a jacket, but might need one if the breeze blew through.
Jackets at night for sure, it can get cool.

We swam during the day and thought it was fine, the pools are heated a bit. My kids (5 and 17months) didn't complain :)

I'd say go for it! It wasn't busy at all! Longest line was maybe 5-10 mins, most were walk ons! Just steer clear of MLK day, or any holiday for that matter. If the locals have it off work/school then the park can get busy (we experienced that our first day, but after that there was hardly anyone around).
