I live in a boarded city. I have never shopped at a Canadian store. Do the stores run the same sales as the US? For example buy one plush regular price get the second for $5. I'm headed to London soon and plan on making a visit to the new store.

Unfortunately, you will pay more and the sales/deals are not the same.
I too live in a boarder city (not far from London, ON) and make bi-weekly, if not weekly trips to the U.S.. Selection, prices and sales cannot be beat. ..even with the exchange.
Just my opinion.
Enjoy the new store; I hope you love it!!:flower:

Just at the one at Vaughnmills today and yes they had the $5 plush deal on, in Can$

Masonville Mall Disney Store just opened this week! Mickey and Minnie are going to be there on Saturday August 6 from 12-4pm I believe. I'm so excited to finally have a Disneytore near me!! woohoo!!!

I'm heading today, supposed to be a rainy day and need to get the kids out of the house. Don't plan to purchase anything (hubby thinks I'm nuts as we leave for Disney in two weeks). I will check what sales/prices are like and let you know.

Lol not sure what I meant with rainy, my mind was keeping the kids indoors from the heat not rain. Either way, store was set up nice and helped put my anti Disney grumpy teen in the mood for our trip so was worth it. I am not sure what prices/sales are in US shops. They had the buy one plush get another for $5, as well as a similar sale for tops at $14 for the second. Back to school items were also on sale (backpacks $18 etc). If cost is what is on the tags than was not terrible. Most items were only $2-$3 dollars higher in CAN funds, and with exchange rate I think that is reasonable. My kids did discover the Tsum Tsum's and when my 5 year old was upset he could not find a Nemo one, but the cashier heard we were heading to the real deal soon she helped hype them up for all the selection they will find there. Now at least I can find some holiday stocking stuffers close to home.
