Canadian Buffoon's Solo Disney Vacation - Update 07/08! pp99 - Here today gone tomorrow

You started it!!

Sadly the drool isn't the issue. I just feel like there's too much in my mouth and I'm chocking. (Yeah I'm sure no minds went to the gutter with that comment lol!)

Ah... Er... ummm.... uh.....

Giggity, giggity!

giggety_zpskiictkpg.gif

I sadly KWYM I have been able to get around
It when snorkeling because I get distracted by the view.

Well stop looking at Jim's butt when you're snorkeling.

Hey Ponz! Just stopping by to say I loved your PD DIVE! I'll be back to comment too tired tonight.[/

I hear ya. I'm beat too. Just a couple more hours and I can go home.

1. You went out and checked out the Aquarium because you wanted to see it from the outside.

2. Illuminations. You wanted to reflect on your awesome dive while viewing reflections of earth

3. You waited for the bus for 40 min because everyone else was waiting too

Check!

I edited to add a guess on your wait time: 20 minutes. (just so you don't have to hunt for my previous comment)

Okay, got it!

And I was so close to getting my man card back!!

Dang.

:rotfl2: No you weren't!

I take it this is one of your talents that you mentioned?

Perhaps....::yes::

Ha ha ha. You do know I deduct points too, right?

I was thinking since I am so far behind that I would go the opposite way and go for the most minus points!
:rotfl:

I'm going to say it's because of your mind.

I could be wrong.

I'm probably right.

Its not my fault everything that comes out of my mouth is dirty...

Of course there is!
Have we learned nothing from Paris Hilton?

Answer: Yes. We've learned nothing from Paris Hilton.

Hey, she realised a very informative Travel Documentary called "One Night In Paris"...which taught us that cameras have night vision...

Thank goodness! Without Tara's approval, I don't think I could go on!

Of course you couldn't! That would be impossible.

She had it coming.
She ordered her steak well-done.

Oh, well then I guess it was justifiable. ::yes::
I think anyone who orders their steak anything other than rare is just asking for it...to be cooked other than rare :rotfl:

Yep! But you have no idea how annoying it is to only have one hand to type with now.

Didn't your mother ever tell you that will make you go blind....or at least give to repetitive strain injury... :rolleyes1

yeah_sure_jon_hamm.gif

Anyone ever tell you that you were evil?
No?

No reason. Just curious.

Ahem:
You're not fooling anybody Lyndsay. We all know you're a sweetheart.

Hi Pkondz

Swimming with the fishes looked a brilliant way to spend a few hours in the middle of a theme park glad you enjoyed it. As I have not got any points yet I suppose it is because I have only tried the once and failed miserably I was way off with my suggestions.

So to keep the theme going I will be different from the rest of your readers and go for a totally different park. You left Epcot and moved to MGM Studios the ride was Tower of terror because it was on the way to Fantasmic and you were very luck with your bus it just arrived at the stop as you got there so you were on your way back to your resort within two mins of arriving at the bus stop.

If I am totally wrong can I please have some points for being way way of the target again

Mac

:rotfl2: No you weren't!

Hah! Shows what you know.
Before I was really, really, really, reallllllllllllllllllllllly far from getting it back.

Now I'm just really, really, really, really, far.

See?

Perhaps....::yes::

I'm going to have to start a list.

Shameless
Potty mouth
Good and/or loud singer
Adorable
Likes dolphins
Probs likes drinks better

How am I doing so far?

I was thinking since I am so far behind that I would go the opposite way and go for the most minus points! :rotfl:

Good! Anyone with a negative value has to send me goodies!

Its not my fault everything that comes out of my mouth is dirty...

The Devil made you do it?

You're really missing your DF, ain'tcha?

Hey, she realised a very informative Travel Documentary called "One Night In Paris"...which taught us that cameras have night vision...

Paris Hilton and Marie Curie.
Basically the same.

I think anyone who orders their steak anything other than rare is just asking for it...to be cooked other than rare :rotfl:

:sad2:

Didn't your mother ever tell you that will make you go blind....or at least give to repetitive strain injury... :rolleyes1

That's just a myth.... ow!
Sorry. Sore wrist for some reason.

On our wedding night, DW took one look at me, laughed and said,
"Who do you think you're going to make happy with that???"

I smugly replied...

"Me."

I knew it!!!!

Hi Pkondz

Mac!!! Long time no see, buddy! :)

Swimming with the fishes looked a brilliant way to spend a few hours in the middle of a theme park glad you enjoyed it.

Oh, it was! It was!
Best part about Epcot, IMHO.

As I have not got any points yet I suppose it is because I have only tried the once and failed miserably I was way off with my suggestions.

'Fraid so. I figured you were so off the mark that you went into hiding with shame.

Mac

Only if you're totally wrong?
What if you got one or two things right?

Wow I"ve really got Two out of three that ain"t bad Reminds me of a song by the eagles I think.

At a Guess I may have got the bus right that's the one of the two so maybe I can get triple points because I got one out of three right. After all One is better then none and one times three = 3 points.

Meatloaf.

I didn't say you had any right.
Was wondering if you still wanted points if you weren't a complete and utter failure.

She had it coming.
She ordered her steak well-done.

Couldn't you just take away her points?

I just called myself a fairy.

And I was so close to getting my man card back!!

Dang.

I thought you were on schedule to get that back last year! What happened... did you take a bunch of teen-aged girls to another dance competition?
Well there ya go.

But I can't really take credit.
I got them all off the video.

And I thought you had some really great underwater camera that real scuba divers used.

Nope! I plan on doing it again!
So more than once in a lifetime! :goodvibes

You're pressing your luck with those sharks. They might have let you swim in their backyard once, but twice?

Hello! I know, I'm very, very late. I wish I would have found your tr when you started it, but I'm all caught up. It took me two days, but all good. Wow! What a great experience it would be to scuba dive at Disney! You're right, not many people can say they have done it. I loved the pictures and loved watching your video. Thanks so much for sharing. I always thought the divers were Disney CM. I never would have thought they would allow guests to dive. How amazing you were able to interact with the kids! I know I'm late, but I'll take a guess that you ride Spaceship Earth (I know you missed your FP for it earlier). I'm guessing you watch Illuminations. I know not very original.
-Lindsey

Couldn't you just take away her points?

I needed an underwater writing tablet or something.

"Hey! Follow my TR at URL=http....

I need you to comment so I can deduct points!"

I thought you were on schedule to get that back last year! What happened... did you take a bunch of teen-aged girls to another dance competition?
Well there ya go.

Worse. We did four competitions.

Well, three. But we danced twice at the last one.

And I thought you had some really great underwater camera that real scuba divers used.

No cameras allowed... so... no.

Truthfully, though. If I had one... well I do have a waterproof point & shoot...
I wouldn't have brought it anyway.
Too busy playing pattycake.

You're pressing your luck with those sharks. They might have let you swim in their backyard once, but twice?

No, no. It's all good now.
Several gave me this nice big toothy grin.
Pretty sure that means they like me.

Hi Lindsey! And :welcome: to the crazy train!

I mean TR!

No, I think I got it right the first time....

Either way... :welcome:

I know, I'm very, very late.

Let's refer to it as being stylishly tardy.
Does that help?

I wish I would have found your tr when you started it, but I'm all caught up.

Well then you're right on time if you're caught up.

Or something like that.

It took me two days, but all good.

Sure. All good now.
But the last two days were filled with forcing yourself to read all my crap,
mixed with retching at the "good" parts.

I feel your pain.

Wow! What a great experience it would be to scuba dive at Disney!

Yes it would!

Wait.... It was! :goodvibes

You're right, not many people can say they have done it.

I Googled and found that about one percent of Americans are Scuba certified.
So it's a good bet that only about one percent of Disney guests are certified.
And I'm sure not all of them have done Dive Quest.

Many have, but compared to the number who haven't.
Probably statistically insignificant.

I loved the pictures and loved watching your video.

Thanks! :goodvibes

Thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks for reading... and more importantly, telling me! :)

I always thought the divers were Disney CM. I never would have thought they would allow guests to dive.

I remember the first time I saw divers, I thought they were CMs too.
Of course they might have been, you never know.

How amazing you were able to interact with the kids!

Oh, Lindsey. That was so far and above anything else I did at Epcot.
I just loved it.
I really get why people want to work at Disney.
Making those kids smile was addictive!

I know I'm late, but I'll take a guess that you ride Spaceship Earth (I know you missed your FP for it earlier). I'm guessing you watch Illuminations. I know not very original.

Got it!
Any guesses for bus wait time?

You know what? After thinking about it, I'm going to stick with Space Ship Earth, but change it to Wishes, since it is your favorite and you were hoping to go back. I think you walked up to the bus stop and the bus was there so you walked on! Sorry to change my guesses!
-Lindsey

All right. Guesses and changes noted.
You're going to kick yourself if you had it right the first time, aren't you?
Or maybe you'll be patting yourself on the back as you look at your huge pile 'o points.

Now, @Steppesister asked me if I thought her hubby would enjoy Dive Quest.
As an inexperienced diver, I can definitely recommend it.
But as for experienced divers?
The married couple were doing this for the second time.
And they planned on doing it again, sometime in the future.
So I suppose that answers the question, right? :)

Well, he's dived in Turkey in WWII wrecks there and in Thailand several times where he was certified. No cold water yet up in the PNW, but wants to. The thought of doing a "tame"/staged dive probably won't cut it, but I'm certainly going to show him the videos and see what he thinks. He would probably enjoy that a WHOLE lot more than wandering around WS given the 2 options. I'll let you know!

I was too enraptured with your tale to remember to multi-quote as I went and just immersed myself into your story of playing underwater MagicMaker. (see what I did there?) Kudos to you for giving the thrill of imagination to the kiddos- maybe you inspired the next Cousteau.

But the winner will also receive the rare Dive Quest T-shirt.

I've been doing contests for a while on my TRs as well, but I'm not sure any of my prizes have been that cool.

1. I did do one more attraction that evening.
What was the next attraction that I visited?

Spaceship Earth on the way to the bus.

2. I did see a nighttime show that night,
did I stay for Illuminations? Or go to another park?
(Wishes? Fantasmic!?)

Illuminations

3. At whichever park I happen to end the night...
how long do I wait for the bus?

12 minutes

You got it right [Meat loaf] its on the Bat out of H*** Album so you should award yourself 10 points for that. Off course I would not mind a couple of points Especially if I got an answer right. But I am going to stick with my

previous guesses and hope for the best.

I was probably first to read the update but now the last to comment.

The dive looked awesome. Wish I was certified.

Darn it, that shirt is way too small for me!

Spaceship Earth
Illuminations
7 minutes for a bus.

Went to a rib cook off last night. Had my favorite sweet sauce with pulled pork. Also some fresh cut french fries and cotton candy. It was freezing so we didn't stay very long. Have a cook out to go to on Monday.

I got a point for tea and Jammie's? Heck, I should have 100 points then, I'm good at tea and Jammie's! Lol!

I loved this update, and for some strange reason, I felt like a proud mother. You overcame so much to do this, not just like a little fear of the dentist and you bravely go in for a cleaning, but YOU SWAM WITH FREAKING SHARKS!!!

Thanks for bringing us along!

Dawn

8 points for graduating college?! That's a great graduation gift!

I did the Shark Reef over at Typhoon Lagoon...not as cool as your tour, but still cool, and I had the same thought process: "Mickey wouldn't want me to be eaten by a shark, therefore these sharks can't be too dangerous." And we're both still here!

That sounds like such an amazing experience being up close and personal with all these animals. And the interactions with guests sound so fun!!

I'm going to say Test Track, Illuminations, and 10 minutes for a bus!
