Canadian Buffoon's Hi Low Vacation - South Central Musings

Okay, people.
Fair warning.

I did say the last few updates
would be short.

And as a result,
they just might come
a little bit quicker too.

As in... the next update
is done!

I'll give stragglers a chance
to comment on the last update.
But expect to see another
no later than Sunday morning.

Actually... it is.
Not a day goes by
when I don't think:
"Will Jen like this?
Will this be enough to finally win her heart?"

Sorry, Jen. Somehow I skipped over you.
Don't ask me how I could possibly
skip over you....

:sad2::sad: The horror! I had to go back and quote (again) what you wrote only a couple days ago......how quickly things have changed. j/k - I don't know how you keep all of this straight.

Ah. An earrings girl.

Nope - think bigger, with a wonderful growl, and speed you can hit way too quickly.

And as a result,
they just might come
a little bit quicker too.

:cheer2::banana:

Your TR's are highly entertaining, and I've greatly enjoyed reading them. And with all the time and effort you put into them, sometimes you need to hear that.:thumbsup2

Ditto.

:sad2::sad: The horror! I had to go back and quote (again) what you wrote only a couple days ago......how quickly things have changed.

<hangs head in shame.>

j/k - I don't know how you keep all of this straight.

It gets a bit tougher
when I post at the same
time as you.
I think I've covered
everyone only to discover
the next day (or two... or...)
that I've missed someone.

Nope - think bigger, with a wonderful growl, and speed you can hit way too quickly.

How about this?

Or is a $5 million dollar car
too ostentatious?
Perhaps you'd like a more
reasonably priced one?
Or one with a better well
known manufacturer?

160049-car-ferrari-f60-america-1.jpg

Ferrari F60 America. Only $2.5 million.

Like that do ya?

Oh, shush, you two.
Or I'll get an even more
swelled head than
I already have.

And no one wants to see that!

Or is a $5 million dollar car
too ostentatious?

Def too rich for me.

Perhaps you'd like a more
reasonably priced one?

Or one with a better well
known manufacturer?

Ferrari F60 America. Only $2.5 million.

Now that is a bit more to my liking - still to rich for me and blue just isn't my color.....hey wait.....you buyin'?

Like that do ya?

Yep

And no one wants to see that!

Well....there's lots of things I don't want to see......a swelled head isn't necessarily on that list.

Def too rich for me.

Okay. We'll shelve that one.

Now that is a bit more to my liking - still to rich for me and blue just isn't my color.....hey wait.....you buyin'?

I was going to buy you one,
but since you don't want it,
the offer is removed from the table.

It's okay.
My feelings aren't hurt.

Much.

Well....there's lots of things I don't want to see......a swelled head isn't necessarily on that list.

Ruby did take this one
of the chandeliers.

I like these... they're watching, always watching. Always.

Come up with a better name
for bonus points.

Illuminating ladies' levitation

1. What does Ruby do that makes her happy?
(She's done this before on our trips.)

She goes shopping...lots of nice little gift shops in Banff.

2. Which common fast food place
do I go to, to get breakfast?

Tim Horton's

3. iPod. Found? Or lost forever?

Lost forever!

4. Where do you want to travel to?
(Money is no object. But must be on Earth.)

There's still so much of the world I want to see. I do want to travel to Africa. I have an invite out to Uganda which I need to take up in the next few years. I also quite fancy a trip to California.

Did you see it?
No need to PM this one.
Just go ahead and tell the world!

Yes, Marvin successfully got across the road!

Straggler alert! Straggler alert!!!! :teeth:

Not sure if I'll be able to get all caught up before your next update, but I wanted to pop in and say :wave2:

The reading will commence now

I like these... they're watching, always watching. Always.

Kinda spooky.

Illuminating ladies' levitation

Not bad!

She goes shopping...lots of nice little gift shops in Banff.

Tim Horton's

Lost forever!

There's still so much of the world I want to see. I do want to travel to Africa. I have an invite out to Uganda which I need to take up in the next few years. I also quite fancy a trip to California.

Noted. Invite to Uganda you say?
You should definitely do that!

Yes, Marvin successfully got across the road!

Well he had to get
to the other side.

A few of you were curious
about the food that I'd bought
and left in the car.

That would have been me among others.

Thought it might be nice to
have an emergency snicky-snack.

In my world those are called garbage 2 days later.

Wayyyy back in '87,

Hmm, I was sophomore in college. That WAS a long time ago!

Winnipeg to WDW.

Nonstop.

You could have probably gotten a flight for cheaper and gotten yourselves more park time too.

Being young and dumb,
we opted to stop at a KFC.

Back then, I think our stomachs could have handled a whole lot more.

(In hindsight, considering the source,
I'm surprised we could eat any of it.)

See above comment...

Dissolved breading flowed
sickeningly in a counter-clockwise
manner inside the bag.

But, if you'd have been in the southern hemisphere.... ;)

I jerked back in revulsion,
quickly walked over to the
nearest trash receptacle
and tossed it in.

Was it 30 or fewer feet away?

Ruby did take this one
of the chandeliers.

Those are pretty impressive!

Okay. I made that up.
But it has a nice chauvinistic
ring to it, doesn't it?

::yes::

Come up with a better name
for bonus points.

Maidens About to Stall- Give 'Em More Yoke!

"I have to go back up there
to see if they found it."

Of course you did. Same thing I did when I left my camera at Mt Vernon.

No one had turned in an iPod.

I may be forgetful, but I am luckier.

Still.... good place for hunting.

Might be slightly illegal, though.

And especially so for Canadians. ;)

I left my camera in the car
and... oddly enough,
I didn't have my iPod with me,
so no food porn. Sorry.

Oh!? You left your camera in the car? Who does that?!?!

You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours.
I may not want to....
But there it is.

Always nice when things go both ways like that. ::yes::::yes::

I could have wiped the iPod remotely...
But I was still hoping...

You can? I had no idea this could be done.

1. What does Ruby do that makes her happy?
(She's done this before on our trips.)

She stops at the gift shop.

2. Which common fast food place
do I go to, to get breakfast?

McDonalds.

3. iPod. Found? Or lost forever?

Found.

4. Where do you want to travel to?
(Money is no object. But must be on Earth.)

France and Italy for a photography shoot.

Did you see it?
No need to PM this one.
Just go ahead and tell the world!

Please don't shoot him. He's very cute, if not ill-tempered.

Yeah, but the chances of that happening are pretty slim. We saw her GPA in nursing school. I was a decent student but never studied that much. I either learned it in the lecture or didn't. Besides my eyes are bad. :rolleyes1

Don't need a high GPA to do well.
Just pay attention a little bit and get a bit lucky.

I assure you this lead is 30% good guessing with solid research done, 60% good luck, and 10% motivation for gifts. (That's 100%, right?)

Yikes! I had wanted to copy and post. So I waited aND tgenjoy my stupid latop was acting up. . Sliding in again.

1. Ruby does what Ruby does. Shopping.
2. Tim Horton's.
3. Found! There are a few goid peeps left in this wotld.
4. Greece!
5. Marvin is hitchhiking or camping

That would have been me among others.

Yep!

In my world those are called garbage 2 days later.

Well... We may not have
finished all of it...

:rolleyes1

Hmm, I was sophomore in college. That WAS a long time ago!

In a galaxy far, far away...

You could have probably gotten a flight for cheaper and gotten yourselves more park time too.

Nope.
Gas was a lot cheaper then.
And we didn't spend any money
on hotels until we got there.

For the two of us...
it probably cost around $100.
Round trip.

Back then, I think our stomachs could have handled a whole lot more.

Yup. It bugs me that I can't
eat like I used to.

No fair!

But, if you'd have been in the southern hemisphere.... ;)

It still would've gone
in a counter-clockwise direction.

I direct you to
this article.

Was it 30 or fewer feet away?

 Actually, it was!

Those are pretty impressive!

I know, right?
I was so focused on my
missing iPod,
that I didn't even notice them.

Maidens About to Stall- Give 'Em More Yoke!

I know where that's coming from.

But have no fear,
the principles of aerodynamics
do not apply to heavenly critters.

Of course you did. Same thing I did when I left my camera at Mt Vernon.

At least you weren't
several hours away.

When you lose something
you find it (relatively) close by!

I may be forgetful, but I am luckier.

Yes. Yes you are.

And especially so for Canadians. ;)

You're going to hunt Canadians?!?!?!?!?!?

Oh!? You left your camera in the car? Who does that?!?!

Yeah... But I did mine on purpose.
What's your excuse???

Always nice when things go both ways like that. ::yes::::yes::

::yes::

You can? I had no idea this could be done.

Yup.
Only hitch is, it only works
if they turn it on and it
connects to the internet.

If it's wifi only (like my iPod. No data.)
and someone only turns it on
at home....

She stops at the gift shop.

McDonalds.

Found.

France and Italy for a photography shoot.

Noted.
Can I come with you for that shoot?

Please don't shoot him. He's very cute, if not ill-tempered.

Well, I dunno.
He does want to blow up Earth.

I forgot the bonus question with the chandeliers - ladies of the light - you know let there be light

I forgot the bonus question with the chandeliers - ladies of the light - you know let there be light
Makes sense.
And you're just squeaking in
under the wire!

Just adding in
Liesa's and Tammie's scores
before posting the update.
