Did you hear the story of how Air Canada dumped a plane load of passengers in Fredericton and told them they couldn't feed them... and a WestJet pilot bought them all pizza?

Yes, I read that one. It really shows the difference. Even those commercials WestJet puts out around the holidays with Christmas presents showing up on the luggage belt for their passengers. I know it's a marketing gimmick, but it works.

That's what drew me to it in the first place.
Well, actually, that's what drew me to my first bike.
Then I wanted to upgrade.
I really like the look of the Softail Slim,
but it wasn't blacked out enough for my tastes.
Then Harley released the new "S" line.
They're all blacked out... including a Slim.

Sold.

Well... not really. I just think the plastic chrome trim looks like crap. When I got my truck I specifically ordered an LT and added the things I wanted from the LTZ package just so I didn't have to pay an extra 2 grand or whatever it was to have plastic chrome trim everywhere. I actually liked the paint matched door handles and black mirrors better than the obviously fake crap.

I'd take the colour matched handles and mirrors any day.

But I've also got an older 1993 Chevy truck. Back when they used this stuff known as metal to build them...

I've got chrome bumpers and a billet grille. I like chrome, but it is best in moderation and, you know, not the plastic faux chrome. Also known as chrap.

Viking funerals are awesome. When we were cleaning out my grandmother's house after she passed, we found an old canoe in the garage and briefly considered doing the Viking funeral with it. The fact that it would be illegal and we'd probably get caught dissuaded us, but I loved the idea.

It is a very nice bike. I like the look of chrome, but I never thought of it from a maintenance point of view. It's a very sleek and streamlined ride. Nothing extraneous or weird. I think you chose wisely.

Morning came for me at 7:30am on September 19.

With all you have to do, I would think you would get up earlier than that!

busied myself by doing the laundry.

There was no helping them.
They came out a gorgeous shade of pink...

I got my backup charger at Best Buy. We only have one camera store in all of Long Beach. We have two Best Buys.

I also called Disney, letting them know
that I'd left the charger and where exactly

They never called back.

That's about as far as the issue we had went, in reference to my recently completed TR

Ruby returned home around noon
and we left for the airport around 12:45pm.

That was a lot you got dome in a short period of time! What you mentioned would have taken all day in my world!

We had two very important stops
to make on the way there.
The first one was to Cookies by George.

Please explain why this was so important? We barely get a drive thru meal on our way to an airport much less specialty cookies!

It eventually showed up at 2:48pm
and I was pretty impressed that they
were boarding by 3:05.

That is a pretty good turnaround!

Originally built in 1981, it held the title
of World's Largest Mall until 2004.

So it was the largest mall when I was there...

We parked the car and were soon checked into our room:

Hubba Hubba! That's one heck of a room! Certainly inspirational.....

Weirdly enough my favorite quesadillas were at Friendly's (an ice cream place that's now our of business). I don't like anything spicy so these were bland which is why I liked them so much.

Your bike is fine. I'm not really into motorcycles so no interest. But I can't take a ride with you! I'd rather have a blue Vespa.
