Just what the heck is 'puce' anyways???

It's the color of puke. But, they couldn't actually call it "puke".

Or, at least, the color puke is in cartoons - that ugly green color. Yup.

I've done this:
Go to work. On the way, pick up perishables.
Leave in trunk 8 hours.

Nicely refrigerated.

One thing on that note -- if you're ever in the south in the summer, make sure to NEVER leave unopened soda cans in your car. They will eventually explode.

And if you thought a FROZEN exploding coke can was messy, you have never seen a hot exploding coke can explode.

We had a great time, as I hope you did too.
The weather was great, even though the night were a bit chilly. After the first evening, we figured out to go back in the afternoon for long pants & jackets. Stopped the whining at least.

It was busy. I was somewhat prepared. We have really only done WDW in off season times. Not likely to get to California again time soon, but next WDW trip is planned. Off season, cooler weather. Last trip met only 1 of those requirements (made a mental note to never visit Florida in September again)

I would love to stay in that cabin - we in fact stayed just down the road from you at the Best Western motel and our room had a fire place in the room but it wasn't a cabin.

3. We watch a movie. In a theater? On the TV? On the iPad? I think you watched it in the theatre for that small time charm.

4. Elk. We see more. In town or out? Out of town. I think we saw lots at the side of the road when we drove over to view the Fairmont Jasper Hotel.

5. Haven't asked this for a while.
Do I get asked for directions? Of course I do.How many times? I'll narrow it down. Less than five times.

6. How do I get revenge on that elk? buy a stuffed elk toy for your dog to maul

I didn't see anything my first time viewing the new chapter but I am usually looking on my phone and check again when I go onto my computer with the bigger pictures.

We drove the same route only in reverse when we went from Banff to Jasper then to Edmonton. The scenery is really spectacular.

We were unlucky though when we went because it was just before the May 24 weekend and we still had snow and frozen lakes. We did get to see Lake Louise frozen over which was quite cool.
