Do you think it's a summer thing?

It's definitely "something", my thread is like crickets except for good Ole ponzi who keeps popping by. I wanted to have my next update posted before Friday but half the folks in the contest haven't submitted answers yet. I know two are on vacation but not sure about the rest. I may just go ahead and post it as once I come back from the next trip I'll be back to having two TRs going.

Do you think it's a summer thing? I know I'm having a really hard time keeping up with everyone's threads. Kids are our of school...etc, etc..

Dunno. Just seems a bit slow around these parts.
Partially my own fault, I think.
I haven't been on top of my own thread as much
as I'd like, let alone others'.

As I just mentioned on Leisa's thread I'll try to be more better at keeping up. I'm excited to hear about out your Montreal trip. It's a place that's always been on my bucket list.

Don't get too excited.
I only did a few "touristy" things.
And one was a complete bust.

Are you still considering another DW trip? If you've made a trip announcement I've somehow missed it.

Still considering... but just don't know. Still.
If it happens, it might be:
"I've booked! I leave next week!"

There are so many people going this year
that I'd absolutely love to meet.
But... well...

I am following along on both of your trip reports but I haven't commented on this one. I loved reading your report about Hawaii. I visited there in 1982 so I am sure that a lot has changed since then but we were one of the many people who got up a 3am to drive up to view the crater. What a marvelous view but what a long drive.
I agree with pkondz- the less people who provide answers on your report the better chance that I have to move up higher since lately has haven't gotten too many correct but I am still hanging around the top.

It was our first time there. Only got two days there. It was a blast, though! Drive from the resort to the beach house, but there is a shuttle.
No restaurants on property, but quick service (one at each the resort and beach house). There are many places to eat nearby, and some a short distant drive away. The rooms are really nice and pretty big, too! It is a DVC property. We can not wait to go back!

I hear that a lot from my friends from abroad, but it looks even funkier than I remember it 15-20 years ago. Mostly we use credit cards, but figured it wouldn't hurt to have some cash.

True dat. I just hope I get some sleep tonnight it's looking better than in the past but still have not put the suitcases in the car so it won't be an early night, but hopefully won't be a sleepless one!!

One thing about working on a holiday...
I definitely don't work hard;
it's always slow.
Plus it's an evening shift, so even slower.

Pretty soon we'll be there to celebrate too!
