Well, looky there. I'd say the "great minds" thing, but we de-bunked that claim a while ago.
Unfortunately... yep.
I've heard that blind squirrels find a nut once in a while.
But do they wash them?
That would have been epic!![]()
I know!
Wasted opportunity.
Should've harangued them.
So did I!
See, here's the thing. I had been to Hamoa beach back when I was young. I remember body-surfing much of the day away and being overwhelmed with the beauty of the place. I loved being at a beach carved out of the cliffs. Like you said, it screams Hawaii.
So, when I visited Maui again years later with my family in tow, I knew I wanted to take them there. And so I pulled up to a beach south of Hana, framed by a big rocky cliff. Gorgeous place. Yep, that must be it.
But now, when I look at the photos...I think we have photos of Koki Beach.
I guess we need to return!
I took another look and.... Yep.
Pretty sure that's Koki beach!

Sure! But we'd paid for the 2-park pass that got us into Haleakala and Volcanoes so we were getting our money's worth out of it.
Ah.
Well, would it have been worth it on its own?
Blind squirrel?
Well, I am near sighted.
Too late.
I totally agree.
Great minds...or something.
Or something.
