Dog surgery? Is the dog okay?

Thanks, yes he is. He had a growth/tumor on his bottom eye lid area. It seem to developed quickly so we went and had it removed before it was bigger and effect vision. Also there's not much skin and if it was larger it could be hard to fix.
But the poor dog(black Lab) had 10 days with the "cone of shame" on. His tail is bad enough but now he kept whacking things with the cone.

Boil in salted water for 9 minutes, pan fry in oil and butter,
throw in some diced onion, salt & pepper. Voila... and yum.

That does sound yum!You sure do some good cooking! I'm more of a cheater...bag of shredded potatoes, then pan fry. I did get hubby's one breakfast meal on Valentine's day. Eggs in a basket (that's our name)

Take it off! Take it off!
Plus you could earn extra dollar bills that way.

That's how I could earn extra Disney money! Sounds easier then some of these hours. Tomorrow is 10 hours starting at 2:00AM.
Also long sleeves seem too restrictive to move in. My job is mostly physical for half the day. Later I have a daily job where I have to enter items in a computer. Occasionally since I'm not moving, during the summer the air conditioner will blow
right on me, I will grab a sweater.

THAT'S IT!! Where do you find these?

Wrong. Now is as good as time as any to harass you. Why do we need a TR to do that?

All harassment aside, I hope I'm not too late. I hope you and your family have a wonderful time in Maui. Both Lady H and I are jealous. We're trying to plan a trip ourselves. Just don't know where yet. We have some flight credits we need to use before we lose them. With only Lady H working, it will have to be some place we can utilize our resort so we don't have to pay for lodging costs. We figured we can buy groceries and do a lot of cooking at the resort to help save on the costs of eating out. We thought about going to Orlando, but not in the budget. Might be either a quick trip to Vegas or to California. More than likely Vegas as my mom has been wanting us to go with her there.

Have fun and be safe. Can't wait to read about the new adventure.

Glad to hear he's better.
Nothing sadder than a dog with a cone of shame.
Although I did see a video recently
(couldn't find it again. )
where the dog got the entire food dish to himself
since the cone fit right around it.
Much to the chagrin of the other dogs.

I used to do the frozen hash route,
but real (not-frozen) spuds are so much better
that I stopped and never went back.
