You posted your last day the day we were in MK! Too bad I didn't know about it, I could have made a dinner ressie (we have eaten there twice, liked it both times) and picked up the paw prints!
Oh, shoot! Thanks for the thought, though.
It would have been a great end to a day that started out as the day from hell and ended up the most perfect day I ever had at WDW.
You mentioned the perfect part, what happened in the hell part?
Unfortunately, I think you posted it that evening, after we had already left. Not that I had much time to read anyway! I hope you can get them; I'd think a phone call might work if you get a good CM. Sometimes they really go crazy with the customer service!
I've got someone leaving soon who said they would try.
And if not, I've got a few more nice people in the wings ready to help.
DISers rock!
Saw your mention of the attitude you go into the parks with. I love my friend dearly, but she is a Type A personality. I am a Type B. On our last day, after lunch, it was just me and my son. The rain that morning had cleared out the crowds, and we just wandered. Hit mine train, didn't care about the 40 min wait. Same with PP, I didn't FP because I wanted to see the queue. Then we jumped on a short wait for HM, had a Mickey Bar while people watching, went to Tom Sawyer's island for the first time, and rode BTMRR twice in the dark before heading back. And there was time spent in rocking chairs we happened upon, just relaxing. Best day ever!
That does sound nice.
How did you like the PP queue?
And I'm quite jealous that you rode BTMRR not once... but twice in the dark!
So sweet you helping Kay's feet. I had terrible trouble with blisters and all. Moleskin helped with that, along with those special 2-ply socks made to prevent blisters. Haven't had a blister since.
Moleskin helped save Kay from blisters, but I've never heard of those socks.
Is that something new?
I also went to a running store that had a treadmill. They looked at my gait and my feet on a special machine and fitted me with the best athletic shoes for them.
Nice! I don't think I've seen anything like that up here.
Did you run on the treadmill? Or could you just walk?
I buy a new pair like every 6 months. I brought two this last trip, and switched back and forth daily.
Wow. I buy a pair and they better last for at least 2 - 3 years, or else!
All my podiatrist did was recommend some kind of insert for high arches...didn't want to deal with that.
Sounds uncomfortable and not very helpful.
After seeing SW: The Force Awakens those Calvin comics make me a little sad. No spoilers, just sayin'.
Seen it.... And I hear you.
Your busses were amazing this trip!

And it just kept going, and going, and going...
Looks like you got through security fairly quickly.
In MCO, we really lucked out.
It was a bit slower going in Toronto, though.
But all in all, not really that bad since we weren't in a rush.
We were given some kind of special express security thing when we left our bags curbside. We bypassed the long line and did not have to take off our shoes or belts. They said it was a pilot program, being done randomly . I liked it!
Nice! I've never heard of anyone having that happen to them.
Of course, we got to our gate very quickly and it was running 2 hours late! So we had 4 hours to waste time at the airport...

I'm getting over my post-Disney depression and the Blizzard of 2016 (the bullseye was right over us! We got 30-some inches! Then we had to dig out.), so catching up on the last of your report.
That. Is a butt-load of snow!
Where abouts are you? Near Washington?
Looking forward to Maui!
Me too!
