I know that there are sites that batch post BF deals but I also know lots of my fellow Canadian DisBoard members are saavy shoppers and I thought maybe some of you might like to share any of the upcoming deals for Black Friday you might come across OR that you have had in the past years and are hoping might happen again.
I am finding that brick and mortar stores are holding sales ahead of Black Friday to get a jump on the competition and that the actual BF sales are not that great but I still have fun hunting for deals.
The ticket deals below are Toronto area specific but I'm open to anything so don't feel like they have to be Toronto only deals, these are just my highlights from last year.

-Last Black Friday, one of my favorite deals was $9 Blue Jays baseball tickets. Yes they were nose bleed seats 500level but I bought a few dates and gifted them to my hubby who was thrilled. The seats really were not that bad considering the price.

I DON'T KNOW if these will be offered again but if you are interested sign up at MLB.com for their newsletter because that is where I saw it first.

-One of my favorite deals that seems to happen every year is deeply discounted tickets for Whirpool Jetboat in the Niagara falls area. Last year it was only 40% off but in years past it has been even less.
https://whirlpooljet.com/ You can just check in on Black Friday, it is usually live on the website. You pre purchase the ticket and then the person you give it to can schedule whatever day works for them.

-Mirvish seems to have Black Friday deals every year. They are still expensive but it is a great way to get discounted tickets even for yourself. I also like to enter the ticket lottery that runs from time to time. My daughter and I were able to get second row center floors for Hamilton for $20 each. It was incredible. To be clear, that price was the lottery, not a BF ticket price.

The other thing I try to take advantage of is gift card bonuses.
These are not always Black Friday specific but some are.
For example, the Cineplex one runs from Nov 1st till Dec 31st.

I will add to the thread as I come across any offers

just got an email from Flipp with the list of all the flyers with deals. You'll need to change your postal code to see offers in your area
BLACK FRIDAY FLYERS

if you do any online shopping and collect either airmiles or aeroplan points they will have multipler offers pop up soon as well

aeroplan has a sale on all of their gift cards if you are like us and never have enough of those to fly anywhere this is a good-ish choice. Only problem is that most of them are physical cards that they use Canada Post to deliver 🤦‍♂️

Time to buy stocking stuffers! The prices may be higher for items than at other stores, but free is free, and this is more free stuff than I'd normally be able to get. Sounds good!

I redeemed at RCSS,,,my groceries came to over $200 a couple of times,,,put a GC for $200 and then pay with points,,covers the groceries...you are not able to purchase directly a GC with points.
Sorry not following. You redeem points for groceries and then add a $200 gc. Are you able to use points for gc’s?
