Can you walk to Seaworld from the Residence Inn?

The description I read says it is only 1/4 mile away which is certaintly walking distance for my family. But reviews on various other sites talk about taking shuttle busses which seems ridiculous to me seeing how close it is. Has anyone stayed there and walked it? Do you have to cross a really busy street - is that why they run the shuttles?

It's a few city blocks in length, but certainly doable if the weather is nice. I see people walking from the Sea Harbor Blvd hotels all the time, and those are only about a block closer. Central Florida Parkway can be a bit busy, but there are crossing lights. Honestly, at least half of the trip would be through Sea World's parking lot.

I stayed there last year, really nice hotel, really near Sea World but no proper pathway for walking.

It would be fine if it was just adults or maybe older kids if you had no stroller. We walked it with a 3 yo in a stroller and it was a bit of a nightmare tyring to push on grass and trying to cross road.
