Well the name implies that you could walk from Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Sea World to Sea World. But since we will not have a vehicle, I do not want to assume. So can you walk to Sea World? What about Aquatica? I am looking for something that is within walking distance for 2 kids (ages 8 and 9). Does anyone have any leads for a good price for May 2011?

Thanks

It's probably a little less than 3/4 of a mile from the Hilton Grand Vacation SeaWorld International resort to the SeaWorld entrance - probably about a 15 minute walk (give or take some minutes depending on how briskly you walk). There are sidewalks all along the route and there's a crosswalk across Central Florida Parkway at the corner of CFP and Sea Harbor Drive that leads to the sidewalk that runs along the side of the SeaWorld parking lot to the theme park's walk-in entrance.

Aquatica is more of a hike - probably a mile and a half or so - and I don't know if they have a walk-in entrance.

Thanks for the information.

From what I understand, the Hilton Garden Inn is closer to both Seaworld and Aquatica, but it doesn't look as nice as the HGVC. Anyway, I can't find a decent rate for any hotels within walking distance to Sea World.

I've stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn which along with the Rennaissance hotel are literally across the street from the Sea World parking lot.I walked to Sea World while staying there and I can tell you that's a very easy walk.HGVC is located at the intersection of Sea Harbor dr. which is the street you cross when walking from the HGI and Rennaissance and Central Fl Pkwy which would also make it walkable to Sea World,it maybe a tad longer a walk but it's definitely walkable.Aquatica on the other hand is located on the other side of International Drive which is clear cut on the other end of the park, making it a longer walk.

::yes:: Aquatica would be a hike and then some.I would'nt do it when I was soaked.A $10 or less cab would be for me!!

I agree it's definitely further and I'm not even too sure how accessible the sidewalks are to Aquatica, cab or find out if Sea World has a shuttle.
