Can you use your disney rewards redemption card in all of the disney restaraunts?

I thought I heard some where that you can only use the disney rewards redemption card at certain resteraunts in disney, is this true, and if so, is there a list of where you can and can not use it? Any info will be greatly appreciated!

We used our Disney Rewards card at several restaurants in WDW, in the parks and at resorts. The only place we were not able to use it was in DTD, specifically we tried at Bongos not realizing they were not really "Disney."

The disney gift card site is a good place to go www.disneygiftcard.com the only restaurants that can't take the gift card are food stands that don't take credit cards. And of course those in downtown disney who aren't officially disney owned. I think I remember seeing someone post what restaurants in DTD take the gift card you might want to do a search! I don't remember if it was this board or not though.

You could always try applying the GC to your room and then charging it to your room. I think that's what I might do on my next trip, that way I won't have lots of cards to keep track of.
