Can you use your annual pass for discounts even if you didn't use it to get in?

The reason is, I'm going to Grad Night, so I will not be using my annual pass to enter the park. However, I was wondering if I could still use it to get discounts.

In addition, does anybody know if I will be able to use it throughout Grad Night?

This past weekend I attended a Girl Scout Bridging event in Disenyland. I had to purchase a ticket just for that event (like your grad night ticket) to get in. While in the park I was able to use my annual pass for discounts like always( keep in mind it was not a block out day for me).

Yes, you can use your AP for discounts even if you didnt use it to get in to the park, even on a block out day.
