can you use the same refillabe souvenir mug in all lands

I know WDW has the refillable souvenir mugs that you can purchase but how do they work? Can you buy one and use it at all four WDW parks? Do you still have to purchase the refill but just for a cheaper amount?

As far as I know the refillable mugs are only for the resort you purchase them in and the refills are free.

That is true!

My friend that just came back said that they are looking at the mugs harder this year than they have in the past to make sure that you are using a current one.

The refillable mugs are just for resorts. You can use them at any resort for the length of your stay. At least that is what we were told when we purchased ours last month.

Did they do away with the ones at the waterparks? The last two years the were selling them at the waterparks. They have a bar code that the machine reads when you refill it at the waterpark.

They still have them at the water parks. Those, of course, will be refillable for just that one day.

In Sept. 2007, Pop was using the YOMD mugs. I didn't like them, so I never bought one. Are they still using that one or have they changed yet? They'd been using it for a while back then and I would have thought they would have moved on to a new design......But then, I'd have thought the Year of a Million Dreams would have only lasted a YEAR.

Same design, the date is just not there.

I thought I heard AK had a refillable mug program. You buy the souviner mug and then can get it refilled for .99 at certain places. Also heard that the mug is bigger than the resort mugs.

I also heard that if you go to the water parks more than once you can just pay to get a new bar code(on a WP mug) and it is cheaper than buying a new mug.

and Universal !

I love the mug that we bought at POP in August 07...I thought it was really pretty with the castle and stuff....I use it everyday at work....
