Can you use RAC if you book on SW but your flight is on Airtran?

I know that you can check in at your resort with either airline. What I would like to know is from any of you out there that have done it already, is there any difficulty when you check your bags at your resort and you booked through southwest.com and your actual flight is on Airtran? Has anyone had the chance to do this yet? My dates aren't until September so I am in no hurry to get any feedback from anyone yet but if someone has already been through that, please let me know.

Thanks very much,

The only difficulty we had was they couldn't find us in the auto-check in system because they were looking for SW. But, after a few mins she was able to check us in. She told us they have been having some trouble with that part since the change over.
Also, on DME it said SW, not AirTran, so the driver wanted us to get off at Terminal A but we knew to stay on for Terminal B.

I booked an AirTran flight through SW but gave DME the AT flight numbers when I booked our Disney package. Is that what I was supposed to do?

Yes...pretty sure. I'm in the same boat. Flying to MCO on Aug 1. Have AT flight booked through SW site. I checked the AT site. BOTH have an 8 am flight (mine) but different flight numbers. Both arrive in MCO @ 10:20 am.

Yes, however on our flights it still had the Southwest symbol for some reason. :confused3 It was an AirTran flight number but the label was SW.

Did you know that if you are not checking luggage at MCO you can get off the ME bus at either terminal. A few years ago one of the ME bus drivers gave us that tip. I just get off at terminal A, everyone ends up at the same area so unless you are checking luggage with your airline it makes no difference where you get off the bus.

Maybe that's so they know not to charge us for our luggage, since the flights were booked through SW?
