Can you use Honey when you use Ebates?

I was told if I used the Honey app while on an Ebates shopping trip it would negate the Ebates. Sometimes the code from Honey is more than the % for Ebates but to be sure I would love to use both.

Ebates won’t credit if you use a code from another website. Codes from the merchant’s site are okay.
