Can you use gift cards purchased in Canada in the US?

Specifically, I was given a Dairy Queen gc. We are driving down and I'd love to use it to buy dinner, if possible. I don't see anything on it about needing to only use it in Canada, but I have no idea if it will be possible.

A lot of big chain places will let you use your 'Canadian' card at the stores. I have used some in many places without problems.

Just look on the website, or just call them and ask. Best way to get an answer. Or, just try to use it.

Yes, but you cannot use a free reward, you will still get stars though just like if you use it in a target store.
