Can you use disney reward dollars everywhere in Downtown Disney?

Not sure about Rainforest, but I was told by an employee at Basin that World of Disney and the confectionary were the only 2 Disney-owned places in Downtown Disney that can except room charge or Disney Dollars. I would imagine the same would be true for Disney Rewards.

Disney gift cards and reward dollars are only good at Marcelines confectionery and the World of Disney. Disney dollars are good at all of the downtown disney restaurants and stores. That's what I was told when I emailed this winter.

Yes, we have found that the best thing to do is convert Disney Reward money into Disney dollars. Much easier to spend that way and it doesn't matter which restaurant we choose to eat in as they do take Disney Dollars. You are not allowed to change Disney Gift card money into Disney Dollars!!

Go to any location which sells Disney Dollars and pay for them using your rewards card. My DD did this the last time we went because she loves to have dessert at Catal and they don't accept the rewards card but they do accept Disney Dollars!!
