Can you use Disney Gift Cards to pay on Vacation Package?

Would a Disney Gift Card be a valid form of payment?

You can use gift cards to make trip payments but some people have asked if you can use the gc that comes in the latest offer which is no because you don't get it until checkin and the trip has to be paid at 45 days out.

I was just wondering because we were going to make all payments through our Disney Rewards card to get the rewards, but then I thought, why don't I just use my Risney Rewards card to buy Disney Gift Cards, and then use those to pay for the trip. That way not only do I get the rewards from Chase, but I get fuelperks for buying the cards too.

The only problem I forsee is if something happened and I needed to canel the trip. Would they refund me in all gift cards?

Hi,

I just did this I paid $1,000 in gift cards that I bought at Giant Eagles and got the fuel perks. The only issue I had was that when I tried to put them online it would not go through I called and had to read out all the numbers to them on the phone.

YES!
You can pay for your package/room with Disney Gift Cards...But you NEED to save them! If you need to cancel for any reason they will only refund your money back to the original gift cards.

yes you can ... and they will refund you,, to any credit card, or in check form..

we are buiying xxx amount every payday just like a bill from giant eagle grocery store and then we get gas credits to get free gas woo hoo... about 6 tanks for gas for the van woo hoo again lol

If you pay using a Disney Gift Card they will only refund your money back to the original gift card.
If you pay by credit card, they will only refund your money back to that specific credit card.

You can use a GC or your rewards card to make a payment but I would not do it. If you cancel it goes back on the GC/RC. If you lost the card you lose the money. If you pay by CC you can get it back on your CC.

We only use the RC for purchases and we keep the card after it goes to $0, if we have to make a return.
