Can you use Disney Dollars For Tips?

We are going on the repo cruise, So for all the holidays we asked for Disney Dollars for gifts. This way we will not spend them until our cruise.

Disney Dollars can be used on your shipboard account, at the parks or at disney stores, but thats all. I dont think I would tip with them seeing these servers, room hostess's etc stay on board for 6-7 months at a time but that is up to you.

I think the staff would much prefer cash....use the DD's towards your onboard account but tip cash for room service, etc.....not having to trade in DD for cash will be one less thing for the CM's to do seeing they do not have much time to themselves as it is.
