Can you use DDE and Disney Visa Rewards?

Im trying to plan our meals. Does anyone know if you can use the DDE discount when paying with DV rewards?
I am planning on using both and this would work out great if they can be used together.

I am sure you can. Its considered a credit card in the way it is run through the system, so you can pay for anything anywhere with it. The DDE is not connected to cash, credit, etc, so I don't see how it will matter!

We did exactly that one year ago on Valentines Day. We had dinner at Concourse Steakhouse, used our DDE for the 20% discount, then paid for dinner using our rewards. Great, huh!

We are staying onsite, so we are going to use DDE and charge to our room and just have the front desk credit our total bill with our DV rewards. That way, we can use up all of our rewards or a particular amount.

We bought Disney Dollars at the Disney store with our rewards. Made paying for things much easier because I hate waiting for them to run my credit card (always told them about DDE at the beginning of the meal so that when they brought the check it was already done).
