DH and DD went to DC in 2002 and loved it. DS will be old enough and will probably enjoy it now.
I see online the first day we could go to DC is not available. Could we go to SW for free as part of the 7 day pass, then do our DC day, or do you HAVE to do DC first?
Also wondering if anybody has been several times over the years. DH said the experience was good, but he did not think the service in 2002 was quite like the brochure said. He said it was a good time, but it really was not the "pampering, roll out the red carpet" experience like they made it out to be then. Like the lunch that was included was just some cold sandwiches, and a little dish of pasta salad and dried out cake, not the sumptuous lunch that was mentioned on their web site at the time. Also no beverages were included at the the time, so I am hoping that maybe his first experience was just growing pains.
I also remember they made a big deal that your swim time with the dolphins was first come first serv, so it was best to check in early to get an early swim time when the dolphins were 'fresh,' but when he got there, they had him already scheduled for a 1pm swim. They changed it for him, but we were wondering how the swim with the dolphin time was determined nowadays.
I do not want to spend the $$$ for all four of us and not have it be what they say it is in the literature.
Thanks!
