Can you use a photo ID in lieu of a finger scan?

Some non germaphobes just don't understand. It's not about reality, but rather the perception.

I'm pretty bad. Always have a healthy supply of both germ X, as well as antibacterial Wet Ones.

My husband must have had a bad initial finger scan with his current AP. subsequent scans have problems most of the time, so they took his pic with an iPad. Perhaps they will do that for you, OP, as you present your photo ID the first time so you won't need to produce it at each entrance,

May I suggest soap and water. Even the CDC indicates it's better then the sanitizers being talked about on here.

We're in the wash after bathroom trips and before eating (if we remember!) club. And all of us are very rarely ill. Kids never miss school.

If you really worry about everything you touch, it will be overwhelming. How do you not touch door handles, seat bars, the keypad to enter your PIN code, etc., etc., all day long? Do you use antibacterial after every single thing? You'll be doing that all day. Heck, plan on bringing a gallon of the stuff if you're staying for a week!

I think most people probably are aware that soap and water is best, but it's just not always practical.

You would be amazed, but we routinely have families complaining at the hospital that the nurse/MD used soap and water instead of that "better" sanitizer.
