Can you upgrade ticket purchased at Undercover Tourist or The Official Ticket Center?

I have read the "Everything About WDW Tickets" thread, but still am not sure.

I know you can upgrade tickets to get park hopper or add on days within 14 days of the first use, but does this apply to tickets purchased through Undercover Tourist or The Official Ticket Center in Orlando?

I was thinking of buying a non-park hopper for 2 days with the option of adding a 3rd or 4th day or a park hopper option when we know for sure how many days we will be able to go to the parks. If it was up to me, we would go every day, but I will be going with other people that may not want to go more than a couple of days. (unimaginable!)

(Actually, I am thinking of buying the 10 day non-expiration ticket for myself!)

Yes those tickets can be upgraded. Use the tickets to enter a park once before doing any upgrades.

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum, especially Post #6, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature.

If you are a big park person then i would suggest getting yourself the better ticket. A 10day hopper no expire is $526 so that is only $52.60 per day to get into the park. No bad in my opinion... Make sure you subscribe to the mousesavers news letter. They have a special link to UT that will get you a couple dollar discount for tickets. Also remember to upgrade to no expire you have to pay the cost across the entire ticket. So if you have one day left on a 10 day they will still charge you the price for all 10 days. It is not prorated for what is left on the ticket. So you may want to start off with what you want. It will definitely cost more to have it upgraded...
