can you upgrade MYW 1 day ticket(from hotel stay on DDP) later?

hi. I am going in late aug on free DDP. Getting 1 day base MYW b/c we already have 10 day non-expire. Question: Can we upgrade the 1 day MYW base to, say, a 6 day non-expire later, or do we HAVE to do it on this trip? I'm not sure what we want in the future---6 days expire, or non, 10 day non-expire, etc.
CM said we do NOT have to use the MYW base 1 day ticket on this trip, but wondering if you can upgrade later? Also, are 1 day MYW base tickets tied to our names? Or can we use them for other family members?

The timer starts ticking on the date of first use for the ticket, not the date of purchase or your stay. So, if you don't use the ticket on this trip, you'll be able to upgrade it next time. However, if you use the ticket, even if it has the no-expiration option, you can't upgrade it any more after 14 days have passed from the first use.

The 1-day ticket will automatically be on your room keys when you check in. However, if you ask at the concierge desk, they'll be able to transfer that ticket off your key and onto a paper ticket. (They can put your current tickets back onto the key after the other one is off, if you like.)

The official rule for tickets is that they are non-transferable once used. If the ticket hasn't been used, it's fine to give it to someone else.
