I'm making a grocery list and the kids are watching Finding Nemo for the thousandth time and eating frozen peas:o

Okay the eating frozen peas part is funny....LOL

We are going out with a friend who is going through a divorce.....we don't want to go but we are going anyway.

:bounce: :Pinkbounc ok...watching Austin Powers and hubby sleeping in his chair....cant get more exciting than that......

Happy New Year......

Denise

Connor and I split a pack of ramen noodles for dinner. Dd went next door for dinner and dh didnt eat. The kids are watching Nemo now, Dh is on his computer and I am on mine.

It's time for bed. LOL

DH watching something downstairs with the dog.
DS in his room, playing gameboy
ME on the DIS ..........just where I would like to be right about now. Quiet in the house.

We had spaghetti for supper.

Now DH & DS are playing with the remote control race cars DS got for Christmas (he got two so each is playing with one)
I am on the computer.

DS will go to bed soon.
DH & I plan on watching a movie tonight, not sure which one but I have a feeling we will BOTH fall asleep on the couch & greet the New Year in the morning!! LOL

We have a ton of food set out for our family who all said they would come over. 7:30 and no one is here at all, no phone calls. Baby is asleep, Cirque du Soleil is on the TV and DH and I are in our jammies.

And now it's POTC!

What a better way to spend New Year's then with Capt'n Jack Sparrow for me and Will Turner for DD!LOL

Happy New Year!

My dh has the flu:( . My dd's are at their respective parties and here I am, might go out to wawa and get a cappucino in a little while. Happy new year everyone:wave2:

Jack Sparrow is joining us for the evening too!!! And that's the only excitement around here.

I just spent the day at the casino but now I'm home watching Austin Powers and DISing.:D

Now I thought I was as exciting as it gets. I just got back from Walmart, where everyone with no life was. Now I'm at the computer, dd is at hers, and hubby is watching tv in the other room.

DH and DD are here playing Luigi's Mansion on the new GameCube while I sit on the couch listing some eBay stuff and reading the boards. We bought some Welch's Sparkling Grape Juice to bring in the New Year. Whoopee! ;)

We just finished our gourmet New Years Eve dinner -- scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and french bread with butter. DS9 commented it really was "special". Now the boys, DS3, DS9 & DH are sword fighting in DS9's bedroom. It won't be long before one of them runs in here crying because they get hurt. DH is usually the instigator of that.

DS3 should be falling asleep soon. He'll take a bath in a little while. DS9 is enjoying DH reading JR Tolkiens Lord of the Rings books to him so they will do that for a while. I was thinking about breaking out the ER Season 1 DVD I got for Christmas.

I probably won't make it past 10 pm or so. DH will wake me after midnight to really go to bed.

Happy New Year!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We had our annual New Years Eve dinner at The Outback - at 4:00.....when we left at 5:30 the place was PACKED.

DH got sick from dinner and was in and out of the bathroom for a while until he fell asleep and just woke up after 8:30.

The kids (DD4 & DS9) and I were downstairs watching Scooby Doo on zombie island.

It's almost 9 and I'm yawning. DS wants to try to stay up until midnight and I told him he was welcome to try - but he would probably be doing it alone. He'll probably make it until 10 at the latest.

Yep, another real exciting new years eve at our house! :)

We ate some made up crock pot dinner and gonna start Freaky Friday here with my 2 DS's 11 and 13. DH is still in Virginia and DS 16 is out with friends. Jack joined us last night ;)

Well at least I know my night is not the only one with no excitement. DD12 is sleeping at a friends, DS15 just went to bed, DH is downstairs watching something on tv, the dog is asleep and I'm on the computer. Bed time is probably not too far off in the future. We wanted to go to Wal Mart, but they closed at 6pm. Now THAT would have been exciting.

Okay.. we are just as exciting as everyone else..:teeth:

I worked until after 5, stopped at Sam's club on then way home, made chicken stir fry and chicken parmasin, rice and cheesecake.. DS10 cried because he didn't want any of it.. siad he was hungry wouldn't eat anything in the house...

gave up arguing and we walked to the grocery store, he couldn't find anything that was good to eat.. just got back ..
DH is on one 'puter, DS12 is game cubing it and DS10 is wailing that he is hungry..

Can I join in your "excitement?" ;) DH is working. I took the kids to TWO movies today. (which is more than we go to in a year) Saw ELF and met my best friend and her kids to watch Cheaper by the Dozen. I enjoyed both. I think Steve Martin gets better with age also. How old is he? Does anybody know? Anyways, now dd's (8 and almost 6) have been put to bed, although they wanted to stay up and "celebrate." I am ready for some quiet time by myself and probably won't make it to midnight .

Happy New Year everyone!!
