Can you tell me what AAA is? I was asked if I was a AAA and didnt even know what it was!!

It's the American Automobile Association. I think you get some kind of dicount if you use them for insurance

AAA is the American Automobile Association -- here in California it is the CSAA -- if you have them for your automobile club, they have wonderful travel discounts on hotels and travel packages. They give a 5% or so discount on Disneyland tix both at the gate and in their offices.

Can you tell me if you need something special to join or how much it is? Other then DL what are the benefits? Is it worth it other then the DL benefits?
We are picking up our new 2001 Saturn today and Im wondering if this is something that might benefit me. We have State Farm insurance.

You don't have to get your insurance from AAA to join. They provide roadside service and towing, travel services, maps and guidebooks, and lots of travel-related discounts. I even got a 20% discount on my new glasses with AAA membership.

sounds like something Id like to check into since dh isnt very good for ummm when the car breaks down (he doesnt know who to call, what to do, ect... he is a computer guy...

How do I call and check on this?
