We're considering using priceline for the first time to get a resort hotel. The hotel listed are the Gaylord Palms, Marriot World, Swan/Dolphin (all of which I have heard have GREAT pools). The 2 hotels I don't know alot about the pool areas are the Hilton and Wyndham Palace at Downtown Disney. Can someone please tell me about these pool areas. Thank you so much for your help!!

The Wyndham has a fairly nice pool area. Part of the pool goes under a waterfall and into an inside area. In that area is the suana & whirlpool. There are no slides, if that is what you are looking for. They have (or at least last year had) free fruit & magazines to read while at the pool. They had plenty of chiars & towels. They also have another pool area just on the other side of the main one. That one is a regular rectangle shape pool. If you plan on staying there, I would request a room in the annex section, pool side. That way you can walk right out of your back door to the pool area. If you are in the tower, it will be a hike to the pool area. Sorry I cannot help you with the Hilton pool.......maybe someone else has info on that. You can try going onto the web sites for these resorts & they should have info on the pools they have.

We stayed at the Hilton through Priceline last Sept. The pool area is very nice but nothing exotic. No slides etc. there are 2 pools but I can't remember what the diffrence between them is. It is nicely landscaped and large. It was never busy when we were there. The hot tubs are great though. There are 2 of them both in a secluded area. They were very clean when we were there. We have also stayed at the Wyhndam and liked thier pools as well. Really, you cannot go wrong with any of the resort choices for the money with priceline.

Hi,
I just got back from two nights at the Hilton WDW ( across the road from DTD).

The pool area is nice (open until 9-10pm)
There is a larger pool from 3ft to 6ft deep and is quite large and a nearby smaller pool goint to about 5ft deep ( this one is slightly smaller than the main pool).
Landscaping is nice.
There is a smallish kids circular padlling pool.

The two spas ( on different levels with slightly different tempreatures is nicely done).

Regards
TBS
