Is it bright enough that you can make your way around without flashlights? We are on a tent loop 10/24-11/7 and Im just trying to think ahead - thanks -Whip
You can make your way around without a flashlight I but still strongly recommend a couple of flashlights. If you need to look at a map or schedule or a hundred things around camp at night a flashlight will be very worthwhile.
Why would you not want to carry a flashlight in a campground at night ? Specially at the Fort, don't you know thats when the drunken otters roam around in search of their next victim to steal their beer? Use the flashlight to defend yourself.
They make such small, lightweight LED flashlights that I bought one I can carry in my pocket. It is very bright and it's real handy for watching out for things like snakes and gators when wandering around the Fort at night.

I also didn't use a flashlight this last time we were at the Fort, but I took the golf cart everywhere we were going. Around the camp site we did use one so I guess I did.
I would bring one if you are walking around at night.
I always bring one of those small flashlights you'd use in the car. It fits nicely in your pocket if you don't need it but there if you do. We're pretty active at night. We'll take one of the boats over to the Poly then hop on the monorails and go all over "the world". Depending on how far away the bus stop is, it certainly doesn't hurt to have one handy.
