can you take DME to another resort than the one you are staying at?

I am wondering if we could save time by taking DME to AKL and then taking the bus to AK, rent a locker for our luggage and then take our resort bus back when we are done touring to check in?

Does anyone know if this is possible? We are arriving at 10am and want to get in as much time in AK as possible!

No, you can only take DME to the resort you are staying at.

Once you arrive at your resort you could check your luggage with bell services and take a taxi to AK. Check in later in the day after you've returned from AK.

A taxi, limo or car service would take you directly from MCO to a park, but depending on the size of your luggage, they might not fit in the lockers at the park. Also, you cannot take luggage on the Disney buses that run between the parks and resorts.

To go directly to a park you would have to rent a car.

Also, I think the lockers re inside the gates so you would have to have all your bags opened at the security tables first (unless I am mistaken and there are lockers outside the gates as well as inside)

Note that per Disney, luggage is not allowed into the parks:

Nope. The only way you can do this is if the other resort is on the same route as your resort. You could put DME tags on your bags and have DME take care of them....of course, you would still have your carry on bags with you. If you arrive at MCO at 10:00am, you will be at your resort by 11:30, and can be on the bus to AK by noon. You would possibly save 30 mins by going to AKL and then directly to AK...not really worth it.
