Can you swap 3 snack credits for 1 QS meal?

I remember we did this at Pinocchio Haus in 2015. But haven't been to Disney since Dining plan changes

You can - in many places at least, get 3 snacks for a CS credit.

I've never heard of being able to get a CS meal for 3 snack credits, though. I mean, in some places it might be easy enough to do ala carte if you order a beverage and two "snacks" that together would make up an entree, but you can never "trade up" credits on DDP.

No you are not suppose to be able to combine credits to pay for an higher credit and more often now people are reporting not being able to even downgrade credits either.

Maybe we just got lucky but I remember we were 2 qs short and used 6 snacks to get 2 qs meals in our last day. It was back in Nov 2015.

Was hoping could still do it gonna be 1 qs short for our October trips and I'm sure we'll have a ton of extra snacks, especially getting 2 per day now.
