Can you still get 180 day ressies for Cindy's Table/chef Mickey's?

OK, I just called disney dining to confirm that I can still make ADR's at Cindy's Table and Chef Mickey's 180 days in advance. I've talked to two people and both have told me no, that they are treated the same way and I'll be able to make reservations some time in November. ARG.

Anyone have the new scoop? I guess this was announced just early last week...

Thats strange....I thought I had read here that you could still book those 2 places 180 days out?? Maybe call back and talk to someone else?

Unless something changed since this weekend (which is entirely possible the way Disney is handling the ADR system recently), you should be able to make those ADRs. We called on 8/25 and were able to make our ADRs for CRT for 2/24/09 - they actually let us make the 2/24/09 reservation because it was within 10 days of our 2/19/09 check in date.
I would call back, because one of the dining CMs I spoke to said she couldn't do it, and I politely asked her to double check, and she then said ok ( I don't think she had read the daily updates they're getting).

NEW DINING RESERVATION SYSTEM IN THE WORKS

Disney will begin implementing a new reservation system that combines dining, recreation and tour bookings.

The conversion will start on July 21, 2008 and is expected to be functioning on October 24. While this is taking place, the latest dining reservation date which can be booked in advance is January 25, 2009. Once the new system is operating, it will revert to the 180 day Advance Dining Reservation window.

The exceptions to the shortened ADR booking window are Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey's and Victoria & Albert's.

I called this morning to make ressies for Cinderella's Breakfast and was told they can only book Cinderella's, Chef Mickey and another one that I can't remember. They said they didn't have March's dates loaded into the computer yet. She said to call back later today or tomorrow. I needed to make it for March 2nd.

She also told me that I could make the rest of my ADR's starting Nov 21st, though that date may change and to check the Disney website.

I made my CRT on the 11th on the 190 day mark. I probably would have lost my mind if I was told i couldnt LOL!

Try again. You should be able to book anything from now until 2/22/09. They have completed the beginning of the system upgrade and started booking these dates on 8/30/08. I'm all set for my January trip.

I made my CRT and Chef Mickey (2x) for the last week in February. YOu should be able to do it.

OK, I called back and found out this morning that they hadn't loaded March dates yet and the CM told me to call back tomorrow. On a whim, I just called to check and got to make my ressies for CRT and Chef Mickey's for the dates and times that I wanted! Hooray!

However, they told me that they're more than 50% full already. So I would have been in trouble had I waited until tomorrow.

And also, I always thought that it was 180 days out, but I'm staying for a week and they let me make reservations for my entire trip-- the last day of my stay is 186 days out. Is that normal? I'm glad that I didn't wait!

It's 180+10 if you're staying onsite. Of which I'm not so I made mine at 180. Hence the time I wanted at CRT was already full, but I got mine for only 25 minutes later, and that was calling at 6:58 a.m. on exactly 180 days.

Oh thanks! Wow, I didn't know that and I have always thought that I was pretty up to date on Disney stuff. LOL.
