Can you still exchange days from non-exp WDW ticket for DL ticket? what is new?

We may be going to DL next month after a 5 year absense there. I was told previously that since we had some days left from our 10 day non-expiring wdw tickets with hopper priveliges that each day we can go to the ticket booth at DL and exchange it for a 1 day DL park hopper pass. Can you still do this? Is it much trouble to do?

Also, we havent been in about 5 years to DL as we go to WDW each year, what all is new? We have not been on subs since that reopened, and i heard captiain eo will be back in feb when we go. What else has changed in DL and CA? Im bummed i read the matterhorn wont be operating when we go.

I Thought I remember reading that WDW tickets could not be exchanged for DL tickets. As for what's new, in five years...where do I begin.

Yes you can exchange the tickets at the gates. You will have to do it each day you want to enter DL. HTH

The CM at the turnstyle calls their supervisor over and you stand to the side to wait. It takes about 5-10 minutes (depending on how busy they are).
