If you do not have an E Ticket can you still stay in the park without getting on any rides. Just hang out until park closes.

Probably not. The ticket that you buy for enight gets redeemed for a bracelet that you wear if you're a paid enight customer. I don't know how well it is enforced, but my guess is that there will be CM's on the lookout for guests without the bracelets.

You definately will not be allowed on any rides and may be asked to leave the park.

You're required to have purchased an E-night ticket in order to be in the park and they will make you leave if you don't have that cute little bracelet on.

When we were there last month we went to E-night. On several of the rides we got on (in the first hour or so after E-night started) there were people within sight of us that tried to get on rides without the wrist bands. The CM's were definitely checking and they weren't allowed on the rides. They were all told that it wasn't allowed and they would have to exit the park.

I didn't spend my whole evening checking out whether or not other people had wrist bands on, but by the end of E-night I do recall noticing that I hadn't seen anyone without one in quite sometime. It's a safe bet that they do their best to make sure everyone who stays in the park has purchased a ticket.

We were there on an E-Ride night back in June. We did not plan to stay, but our family got separated and didn't get back together until almost an hour after the park had closed (long story). The Main Street shops were packed with people without bracelets. We ended up doing a little shopping ourselves before we left. I don't know the "official policy" but from what I saw, they only check bracelets for rides, not shops or food.

the official policy is that it is a "hard ticket" event and without it you must leave the park.

I think the shops (at least for a little while) are the exception. The shops stay open after the park each night.
