Can you stay at other WDW resorts?

As a DVC member, are you restricted to only the DVC resorts, or can you book a stay at any of them?

Yes, you can book any of the Disney resorts.

You can't use points at Value resorts, nor at BWI, BC or WL. Or Swan/Dolphin.

It costs a lot more points to stay at a non-DVC WDW resort than staying at a DVC resort. It might cost 50 points to stay at a Deluxe non-DVC resort for one night, and a one bedroom DVC might cost 20 points.

You can use your points at any WDW resorts other than those outlined by Deb & Bill above.

However, using points at other resorts besides the DVC ones is not the best use of points, in terms of the # of points you will use. Certainly, though,t hey are your points and you are free to do with them what you wish.

We use the AP discount to stay at the other Disney resorts. Usually on Friday and Saturday nights.
