Can you stack a AAA discount on top of a stay more/play more discount?

Hi everyone, haven't been on the boards in a very long time. Now planning our first to trip Universal/IoA, July 2011, planning to stay at Royal Pacific.

Here's my question - I know all you travel buffs can help.

I do not have AAA, but I think my mom does. If she were to add me to her account, am I then eligible for the AAA discount at the hotel? Mom won't be coming with us, so I will need my own AAA account right, when I book my room?

Can I stack this discount on top of whatever discount they may be offering when I'm able to book my ressie? We are planning a six night stay.

You can't stack. All discounts are separate discounts.

If your mom adds you to her AAA account, you will probably get your own card.

APs have their own discount. Sometimes they are the best discounts and sometimes not! You still can't stack them.

That is correct you can never combine discounts. If you combined enough of them you could most likely go for free.

I get a travel agent discount and I cannot get my Loews First plat ammenities, I am not looking for an upgrade or anything but since I get 50% off my room I don't get milk and cookies Sometimes the Loews Plat is a better deal with the upgrade, sometimes the TA discount is the better deal you can only have one.

We have never been asked for our AAA card by the HRH when we check-in. However, you would need a card to get the discount at the restaurants, snack carts, and stores.

I guess the AAA discount varies? Didn't know you could use it at restaurants too, interesting!

I'm pretty sure you can because our rate was ALOT less after we went to AAA.
