Don't judge me lol
It's always been my dream to be married in front of the castle. It's way beyond my budget. My fiancé and I thought about going to a courthouse and then to honeymoon at Disney but he doesn't want to do the courthouse thing. The next thought was Vegas, which is still on the table. I honestly don't care to have an actual wedding or to pay a huge amount for guests to celebrate with us. All that matters is for us to enjoy each others company. honestly the thought of just going to Disney, having someone to secretly officiate with a simple "do you take him" "do you take her" speel is enough for me and would make me unbelievable happy. I'm just wondering if this is doable or is it grounds for getting kicked out? lol

I'm sure it's been done, but it's also definitely grounds for getting kicked out. Especially if you're going to do it in front of the castle. There's a reason people pay the big bucks for it, and Disney doesn't want anyone thinking they can get away with doing it and not paying so they come down hard.

I have a friend that recently got married on POTC. They got in the park with tickets given to them by a CM. I am by no means saying it's right, just saying it happened (and I saw the pics).

Here's a post about a stealth marriage on the Mark Twain
https://www.wdwinfo.com/guidelines.htm

I know there are proposals all the time. But Disney frowns on Non-Disney Weddings in the parks.

I read about a stealth wedding in the Tiki Room after the doors were closed before the show started

Could it be done?...well, someone filmed an entire feature length movie inside Disneyland undetected so anything is possible.

...but know whatever bright ideas you might come up with, someone else has already been there done that and they are more ready than you would expect!

Stealth weddings happen as you can see. Personally, I’m too attached to Disneyland to risk being banned.

I think I’d have a quick ceremony at a beautiful park in the area early in the morning & then go celebrate with whoever I wanted in Disneyland.

ETA: or get married in Vegas, party with friends there & then honeymoon in Disneyland

Actually there’s so many YouTubers that film there now that it doesn’t seem that hard to get away with filming a movie. What’s the name of it?

Can it be done? Yes.
Has it been done? Yes, countless times.
Can it get you kicked out of the parks or hounded by security? Possibly.
Are there ways to avoid the above? Maybe.

Like with most things at Disneyland, if you are casual, you're probably going to be fine, and they won't notice/care what's going on. If you're hoping to get married in a long white gown with 5218 of your closest friends and family surrounding you, then you might have a problem. But, a group of 5 or 6 people standing to the side of somewhere, not impeding traffic flow, isn't going to draw undue attention.

Off the top of my head, I think the Mark Twain could be wonderful (and has been done more than once, when done quietly), off to the side of the lagoon would be nice and quiet (near the Matterhorn)... Now that I'm thinking about this, you *might* be able to pull it off on the Storybook Canal boats if you have a nice cast member. They will sometimes let small groups go on a boat by themselves, more commonly around fireworks time, especially if there's a proposal in the works. Perhaps get some Mr and Mrs ears, and see if they will let you ride with just your officiant and witness, and then do it when they stop the boat for the fireworks. Totally would depend on getting a laid-back CM.
