Can you send gifts to someone else's room?

My friend Serina (who posts here too) and I are going to Disney the same week and we each have young children. We had the idea to send small gifts for each other's kids to each other's rooms a couple times during the trip. Is that possible?

For example, if I bought her daughter a small stuffed animal could I ask them to send it to her room at Pop Century if I have her room number?

I've never had anything sent back to a room before so I don't know how it works.

They don't send to the room anymore unless you're concierge (I believe... may not even do concierge). They send to the gift shop at the hotel and the room occupant has to go pick it up and also has to show the claim ticket for it. So you'd have to get the receipt/ticket to the mom, and she'd have to pick it up.

What you could do is contact the WDW Florist and arrange to have something sent to the room. It's pricier, however.
