Can you rent a car at the airport and drop in Off At Port Canaveral

I have tried to search for this but I keep getting server too busy. Every day I try. So I thought I would just post.

My DH and I would love to rent a car. We were wondering if we can pick one up at the Airport in Orlando. Have it a few days as we go to WDW. And drive it down to the disney cruise and drop it off there. Is there a car rental that does this. Or would it be better to rent the car for the full time and pay parking at the Disney Cruise line parking lot. Since we will be going back to Disney for a couple of days after the cruise.

Which company does this if any. I know there my be an extra fee involved in this too.

Yes, Avis and Budget are two that do this. IF you go over the the Cruise boards and do a seacrch, you can find the Cape Canageral Codes, or just search on the Rental Car site for Cape Canaveral. This isn't considereded a one way drop either.

Be sure and price it keeping it for all the time, and doing the return. We found it was cheaper to rent by the week (even paying the parking fee); than to rent, return and rent again.

National does have a place in Coccoa Beach, but does not provide a shuttle--you have to pay for a taxi, which ran us about $13 one way.

We did this last year. We used Budget and picked up the car at MCO went to the Cape and stayed at the Radisson for the night. Dropped the family and luggage at the pier and went to the Budget office. They have a shuttle that will take you to the pier. I told the driver I had a car reserved for the trip back and he told me what times he comes by the pier for pick up, worked great.
