What happens to the Delivery Confirmation? It's supposed to be sent Priority Mail. Will the tracking show the package got set back? Anyone know?:confused3

DC is needed to request packages back. Any package can be requested back by the original shipper to him/her. This is a fairly common occurance when using ebay if a check bounces or it gets lost for a while, etc. If the PO can locate the package (via DC) then they will find it and send it back.

I tracked a letter a month or so ago & the USPS delivery person NEVER imput the info so I have no idea when the letter was recieved.:sad2:

If it was not delivered, it wouldn't show that it had been. I don't think it would state "refused" but it would be sent back to the sender and can be be tracked.
(I've never refused a package from USPS, but I have from UPS and this is what they told me would happen). To be sure, check the FAQ on the website, I'm sure there are others who needed this answered :)

Delivery confirmation is a rip-off, IMO....

I've used on multiple EBAY packages and they NEVER showed it was delivered, even though I would end up getting positive feedback from the buyer. We sent a defective digital picture frame back from Christmas (since Office Depot was being a PITA about it) and to this day it never showed as being received by the company....even though they got it and sent us back a new one 2 months ago.

To work, the postal worker has to scan the package when they deliver it which leaves too muc room for human error.

Write or put a note on it saying refused and the mail carrier will scan it refused. Even it was already scanned delivered, the carrier will then scan it again refused. And it will show refused when tracking. If it's damaged, the postal carrier can scan it visually damaged.
