Can you really walk from Beach Club to Epcot and MGM?

How far is the walk from BC to Epcot, is it the WS entrance? And how far to MGM? It will be myself (3 months pregnant, woo hoo!) my MIL, who is in fantastic shape and my almost 3 yr old DS, who will hopefully stay in his stroller.

I was able to upgrade from POFQ to BC after the codes came out last week. I was hoping for GF, but got BC and I hardly know anything about it! Thank you for any info!

The walk from BC to Epcot (yes it is the WS enterance) is very short, should be no problem. You can take the water shuttle though if your really tired and need to get off your feet. The walk to MGM is longer, it looked to long for us to tackle with our kids. We took the water shuttle there.

This is off topic, but with a 3 year old, be sure to request a room away from the renovations. From what I understand, they do work all day long, which could interfere with nap time

And we found the walk to Epcot very pleasant! Didn't try MGM. We liked the boats though.

I read somewhere that MGM to Epcot is about 1.5 miles if you're walking. I can't vouch for the accuracy of that though.

The walk to the International Gateway at Epcot, which is between France and the UK is literally 5 minutes from the BC lobby. It is acutally just as quick to walk to the Epcot as it is to walk to the boat launch.

For MGM the walk is about 20 minutes. Nice walk along the water if you are up to it, otherwise you can take the boat, it takes about the same time either way. The boat can take a bit longer if one just left, we have beat it by walking a few times, especially after fantasmic when there might be a wait for the boat.

We are just back from the B.C. and the 1st night there I was sick as a dog so my hubby, 3 1/2 year old and parents went to Epcot. This was our first time at B.C. so they took the shuttle both ways and had to wait about 10 min for the shuttle then it made another stop before Epcot and by the time they got there it had taken them about 35 min. The next day we walked out the lobby took a left walked about 5 min. ( if even that) and there we were. Much easier. We did take the boat to MGM however becaue that did seem like a bit of a hike. Have a great time.
