Can you plase tell me about the weather in DL middle of august?

HI.......
we are going to be traveling to CA in august and will stop at DL for a few days....can you please give me specifics ( and numbers to comapre)on the weather? how warm or hot it is, and the rain amounts? thanks we are looking at be there sometime between 8-14- 8 21.

Hot enough during the day to be hot. It cools down at night.

Very hot--upper 80s-100s. It rarely rains during the summer here in CA. But it usually does cool down at night.

No matter how many times I go to Florida I still expect it to cool down in the evenings but it never does (in August) so it's good to know it will do so in California!!! It's the humidity that kills me so I'm hoping that'll be better too.

It will probably not be cool enough to need a jacket in the evening, however probably a little too cool for a tank top.

Regarding the humidity, that's not usually a problem, especially compared to Florida.

It always surprises me how much it does cool down in the evening there! I'm usually ok - but my kids usually want a sweatshirt - so we keep them in a locker, or our backpack. It also comes in handy if you happen to ride Splash or GRR when it's dark and have no real chance to dry off in the heat! The lack of humidity really makes the heat in August bearable there - so much more so than WDW! Just plan shows, meals, in door and water rides for the hot times!

There is no need to worry about humidity here in Southern California, and remember we have very unpredictable weather, it rained this morning (6/17/05) and now its a gorgeous warm day. August is normally hot mid 80's to high 90's and does cool off in evenings so bringing a cardigan or light jacket is advisable. If you have been to WDW already, you will love our weather.

From NY here and will be there for 3 days before the cruise -- so cooler weather in August for the nights is the norm for us.....
