Can you place a to-go order at a TS restaurant?

We are staying at BC in Dec and I was wondering if we could call in a breakfast order to Captain's Grill and then have DH pick it up and bring to the room?

We are used to getting a hot breakfast at a quick service restaurant or food court on resort property. I'm not sure I'm up for TS breakfast everyday with the kids since it's a bit time-consuming. This way DH could go pick it up while I finish getting the kids ready. We can eat in the room then hit the parks running!

As with all things Disney, it never hurts to ask. However, Disney TS locations aren't set up for to-go orders.

I've even read one instance that a server had to check with a manager before making a to-go order for a party who was dining in the restaurant and wanted to take food back to the room for someone who had been too ill to join them in the restaurant.

I once read that the TS restaurants do not offer take out since it will put too much strain on the more popular restaurants but is applied to all restaurants. Although I have ordered to go orders from the bar at ESPN - I don't know if ordering from the bar is what made the difference.

You could do room service or the Boardwalk bakery has some hot breakfast sandwiches available.

I agree with the others. Just enjoy room service.

Thanks for the info! I don't want to request something that is out of the norm. We will just go down for breakfast and it will be fine.

Room service, while convenient, is pretty pricey. And that's before you add in the delivery fee and service charge.
