Can you order pizza or nuggets off menu?

Hi! We are headed down next week and we have a food plan. My kids will only eat waffles, Pancakes, chicken nuggets or pizza. Sometimes yogurt and cereal.

That's it.

I was under the impression that most places had one of these options, but I just learned that I was wrong.

Our reservations are:
Hollywood and vine lunch
BOG lunch(I know this one doesn't have nuggets/pizza)
Crystal palace dinner
Cinderella royal table lunch
OhAna breakfast

Any idea if these restaurants will have nuggets or pizza? I thought my TA said that I would be able to order off menu but I just read that BOG absolutely does not carry pizza or nuggets. I'm going to drop that reservation. Just wondering if I need to move anything around.

Going to go check the menus now, but if anyone knows if the above places allow you to order nuggets or pizza off menu, please let me know.

Thanks!

Just another example of TA's making it up as they go along. You can't order something "off menu" if the kitchen doesn't have it to make. I would check allearsnet.com to be sure there will be acceptable food choices before making reservations. Breakfast at Ohana will have waffles.

Just checked & looks like chicken nuggets are available at all other restaurants you have so you should be fine. Have a great trip.

1) You are going to a lot of buffet/AYCTE places.
2) Many do not have the food items you wish.
3) Although TS chefs are able to accommodate many allergies, they are preparing fewer and fewer "picky" meal items.
4) Buffets/AYCTE are mass-merchandisers and DO NOT typically offer "off menu" or ala carte (type) foods.

NOTE: One thing to consider is that you are paying a lot of money for "Ppncakes, chicken nuggets or pizza" for the kiddies. There is no discount for the small amount they eat at buffet/AYCTE restaurants.

What is AYCTE?

I'm paying more for the experience than the food, but it is unfortunate they won't eat anything else.
According to the menus, all but BOG have nuggets, thankfully. These kids will be pretty sick of nuggets! Then again, that's all they eat at home, so...lol.

ohana has waffles.

The "nuggets" at most disney places are more like small chicken tenders, not the breaded and formed nuggets like chicken mcnuggets or frozen dino nuggets. I know for some kids that would make a big difference. Just so you know.

when we were there in late August Hollywood and Vine had nuggets in the kids area of the buffet. both of grandkids had them. they were not prepared separately but on the buffet

All You Care To Eat

Editing to add...Maybe consider just doing character meets in place of some of those meals and feeding your kids at a quick serve restaurant. I understand wanting the experience of somewhere like CRT...if I was in the same boat with the food situation, the only two reservations out of those you listed that I'd keep would be CRT and Ohana breakfast.

Good luck and have a fun trip!

barring any last minute menu changes, you should be fine everywhere except BOG. Maybe see if you can grab an ADR for b'fast there instead? Alternately, pick up nuggets from Columbia Harbor House or pizza from Pinocchio's and bring it with you to BOG.

We will be there a week from tomorrow as well!

If you pick up food from another QS it will be cold by the time you sit to eat at BOG. Also most places do not have the ability to pack "To Go" food. You will likely, at most, get a second plate to put over the food.

True, I thought about the transport issue after I posted, and how it may be a PITA to carry plates of food from one CS to another.

As far as the temp, if OP's kids are anything like mine, that may not matter. No joke, DS ate a grilled cheese sandwich over the course of more than an hour yesterday. :crazy2:

In think we are going to just go and give it a try. I will pack cereal. It seems rude to bring something else to eat, but the fact that it's a fast food restaurant makes me feel a little better about it. Do you think I would be allowed to only order 3 meals for 5 people?

Absolutely. You can order as much or little as you want.

What we have done - when there was nothing on the menu for my son - feed him first somewhere else (quick service) then go to the ADR.
