Can you order appetizers for a meal at a WDW sit down restaurant ?

You are the customer. You can order whatever you want and I don't know why some people are so hung up on tipping as if you ordered something larger - tip what you think you should tip.

It's not the fact that they ordered something larger...the waitress had to take their orders, and deliver the food, same as she would if you ordered an entree....so therefore they are being generous realizing that they are taking up space at a table where someone else might have ordered an appetizer, entree and dessert.

These tipping issues are interesting. Frankly, I've often ordered only an appetizer or split an entre with someone else in my party and it never occurred to me to tip extra. Of course, sometimes a menu has a variety of main course entrees that range in price quite a bit, i.e., a hamburger for $10 or a steak for $20. I don't tip extra when I order the hamburger either. That said, it does make sense to tip extra if the total bill seems under what the wait staff would get if full lunches/dinners were ordered. We do tend to be high tippers when we get good service, so maybe the answer is just an extra big tip if the service is great but we don't order so much. I'd be interested in other opinions on this. No flames, please!
