Can you modify room only ressie to myw with dining?

Does anyone know if you can move your one nite deposit for a room only ressie to a myw with dining ressie? Or would you have to cancel out your room only and start a whole new reservation to get the myw package

If you want to go from room only to a package they will have to cancel your current reservation, refund the deposit if you're eligible, and make a brand new reservation.

Exactly. Room-only and package reservations are handled by 2 different subsidiaries of Walt Disney Co and funds don't transfer between them.
